Action Pack presents Hackers in Heckle Vision
Rated Unknown; 107min; Director:Iain Softley (1995)
o yeah, the main reason I wanted to do these text-based Heckler's Paradise shows (see the INVISIBLE CHILD description for more on that) is because I have a soft spot in my heart for a lot of really and truly terrible movies. And because we're using new movie-theater technology to pull off this series, it made sense to bring in HACKERS, the terrible movie about Angelina Jolie being hot and computer hackers who hang out in skate park/arcade rooms that get in over their head, because it's depictions of then-new technologies are amazingly off. So come in armed with your best heckles, text them to the number we provide at the show, and we'll all laugh-along with HACKERS together.

Big Screen Classics: The Lost Boys
This is a MUST SEE on a big screen, especially if you only ever saw it on crappy pan and scan or full screen. The opening sequence in full cinematic glory really sets the town for this underrated vampire romp. And at the Alamo Ritz, you get to see it on cinemascope, in all it's glory. And maggots. . - Jenn
