I knew I could no longer deny my film addiction when a friend challenged me to track the films I saw in a year, and final tally was triple digits. In theaters. Genres mean less to me than good stories and story telling, and I lean heavily towards independent films. I'm thankful to like in Austin, where I have a lot of kindred spirits, and a community that both celebrates and supports film. I've been writing about film for years, and I'm honored that I can contribute to Slackerwood. Now if I can just finish that screenplay...
