A successful middle-aged Greek emigrant returns from Germany and sets up a roadside business with his younger wife. Douvlis’s debut film successfully weds classic Greek tragedy with the very American story of THE POSTMAN ALWAYS RINGS TWICE while simultaneously focusing on an immigrant’s loneliness and conflicts.
