Visit external web page. As part of a new series called Cinema Club, Alamo Ritz is showing the delightful 1939 Ernst Lubitsch comedy Ninotchka -- its original tagline was "Garbo laughs!" The script was written by Billy Wilder and Charles Brackett, and the film also stars Melvyn Douglas and Ina Claire.
UT professor Charles Ramirez Berg, one of the founders of Austin Film Society, will introduce the film and hold a discussion afterward.
